Question– “We recently moved to a house that runs on well water. We installed a new water heater yesterday and now our water well filters keep filling with sand and we cannot stabilize the pressure. Before putting the new water heater in we had no issue with the filters or maintaining pressure. Any ideas? Please help!”
Answer In our opinion, changing the water heater should not have done anything to the well. We would recommend having your well pump checked out because your water well pump should not be sucking up that much sand. Your pressure is off because all your screens in your faucets are probably clogged.
