Heating

Need a Heating Repair but you don’t have the money?

Well, there may be help! It’s called the Heating System Repair Program!

The State of Rhode Island has a program for owner occupied households who make under a certain amount and don’t qualify for the energy efficient programs to get a one time heating system repair or replaced through the community action program agencies. The program is called the Heating System Repair Program.

This is how it works…

1) First, you have to need a heating system repair.

2) Second, you have to meet the income guidelines. See list.

If your heat is not working this is a good time to look into this program since we’re going into the colder weather and no one wants to be without heat when it’s cold! If your home goes without heat for multiple very cold days in a row you will probably get frozen pipes. Frozen pipes can destroy your entire home! We hope this information helps you to get your heat back on!
